A summary of the most buoyant industry in Poland - Outsourcing Stars 2015

Share

Poland is among the world leaders in outsourcing. The employment of 150,000-180,000 people in the BPO/SSC sector is the highest of any country in Europe and its annual growth is steady at 15-18%. Outsourcing has a broader scope, encompassing the archiving of documents, Call/Contact Centres, Car Fleet Management, real properties, HR, employee leasing, recruitment, IT and accounting. A summary of this rapidly developing industry in Poland is to take place in January during the Outsourcing Stars Gala 2015.

“The awareness of the outsourcing market in Poland has not been publicised enough yet. We have many reasons to be proud of this market. According to PIIA, the first months of 2015 alone involved foreign BPO/SSC investment totalling up to about EUR 17 m, and almost 2,000 new jobs. Such a buoyant industry deserves more publicity and its leaders deserve more praise. Hence the idea of organising the Outsourcing Stars Gala contest, scheduled to start in January, for the third time,” said Wiktor Doktór, CEO of the Pro Progressio Foundation.

Registration for the Outsourcing Stars 2015 contest is open until 10 December 2015. Increases in employment and the number of new contracts are among the categories to be assessed. The objective of this contest is to select and award the most buoyant companies and institutions from the BPO/SSC industry. Outsourcing Stars is the only non-commercial awards event in the outsourcing industry in Poland. The Honorary Partners of the event are the Minister of the Economy and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency. The finale will take place during the grand Outsourcing Stars Gala 2015 on 28 January 2016. The event, which will feature experts from PAIiIZ, outsourcing-market research companies, and the authorities of major international industry organisations such as IAOP, Deutscher Outsourcing Verband, and the Lviv IT Cluster,  also constitutes a summary of the year in this industry.

Participation in the Outsourcing Stars contest is free of charge. The only condition is to fill in the registration form correctly. The form is available at: http://www.outsourcingstars.pl/pl/konkurs/zgloszenie.html
