“Follow the Leaders” 2024 in Tricity, Poland: An exceptional business event celebrates success

On October 2-3, Pro Progressio, an organization dedicated to advancing the modern business services sector, hosted the latest edition of “Follow the Leaders” in Tricity in Poland. This year’s unique event, featuring two leading conferences held simultaneously for the first time, drew nearly 600 participants and included workshops for team leaders along with a variety of other initiatives.

“Follow the Leaders” continues the legacy of our well-regarded initiatives in the industry, such as The BSS Forum and the Outsourcing Stars Gala, which have earned acclaim in the modern business services sector for over a decade.

A highlight of the Pro Progressio event was the BSS Conference, hosted on the 34th floor of the Olivia Star building, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of Tricity and the Gulf of Gdańsk. The conference featured two parallel streams of presentations and panel discussions focused on analyzing challenges, forecasts, and innovative solutions shaping the future of business services globally. Topics covered by both Polish and international experts included digital transformation and AI, automation, cybersecurity, human capital management, and sustainable development in the BSS sector. Strategic partners for the BSS Conference included KPMG and SS&C Blue Prism.

Meanwhile, the Eco Transformations Conference took place at AMBEREXPO Centre, addressing a wide range of subjects such as ESG, energy transformation, technological innovations in renewable energy, natural resource management, circular economy, and sustainable transport. These themes aligned perfectly with one of the key areas of the development strategy for the Pomerania region, underscoring the importance of ecological transformation for its future.

For the first time, the annual event included workshops for team leaders, providing participants with valuable insights into both the theoretical and practical aspects of leadership skill development.

The event culminated in a highly anticipated evening Gala, presented in a new format. Held on the top floors of the Olivia Star building, the ceremony featured the announcement of the winners of the PRO Tiger competition, which has replaced the previous Outsourcing Stars competition after over a decade. In 2024, the competition not only adopted a new name but also introduced new categories. The winners in various categories included:

In 2024, the strategic partner for “Follow the Leaders” was Invest in Pomerania, a non-profit regional initiative coordinated by the Pomeranian Development Agency, which assists foreign investors in executing investment projects in the Pomerania region.
