Scandinavian BPO and SSC investments in Poland

BPO and SSC industry is booming worldwide. In CEE region this is Poland where investors from various countries have decided to grow their services business and as many reports and benchmarks present this is still growing trend.

Nearly 10% of all foreign BSS (Business Support Services) investments in Poland are currently done by companies from Scandinavia region (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland). The Scandinavian investors are locating their operation centers not only in Warsaw or Cracow – the most popular BPO destinations in Poland but also in TriCity, Szczecin and other locations, not necessarily from the top of the list of Polish cities.

Scandinavian companies in their Poland based operation centers are providing full range of services, including finance and accounting, customer service, IT support and others. Also what is important companies provide services in full range of foreign languages. Some of the companies operate in 15 languages.
